Privacy Policy

What we collect, why, who sees it, and how to make us stop. Written to be read rather than to be survived.

01

Who we are

This site is operated by your salesperson, a salesperson registered with the Council for Estate Agencies of Singapore under registration number , operating under the estate agent licence of Huttons Asia Pte Ltd (Agency Licence ).

It applies to this domain and all its pages, the enquiry forms on it, and any direct communications you receive from us as a result — WhatsApp, email, or a consultation.

It does not apply to the privacy practices of the agency as a whole, to other salespersons, or to third-party sites we link to. Once you formally engage us for a transaction, the agency's own group privacy policy applies in addition to this one, because the transaction is conducted under its licence.

The tools on this site — the project directory, the calculators, the rental-yield and distress data — are provided on our behalf by POV Realty, which hosts the site and receives enquiries submitted through it. See who we share data with.

02

What data we collect

Only what is needed to answer you and to stay compliant with Singapore real estate rules. Three buckets, and one deliberate omission.

1 · What you give us directly

  • Your name, mobile number and email when you submit an enquiry form — the brochure request, viewing request, shortlist or consultation form.
  • What you tell us about your situation in that form or afterwards: the property you are asking about, your timeline, whether you are buying, selling or renting, and anything else you choose to add.
  • Messages you send us by WhatsApp, email, or social media.
  • Documents you choose to share during a consultation — an IPA letter, a CPF statement, an IRAS notice of assessment, a valuation, an existing tenancy agreement. We ask for these only when they are needed for the specific thing you have asked us to work out.

2 · What is collected automatically

  • Standard server logs kept by our hosting provider — IP address, browser user agent, referring URL, timestamp, page requested. These are generated by the act of serving a web page and are not linked to any enquiry.

3 · Public property data

The figures on this site — transaction prices, rents, yields, unit mixes, district medians — come from URA, HDB and other public sources. That data is about properties, not about you, and none of it is derived from your visit.

4 · What we deliberately do not collect

This site runs no analytics of any kind. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no TikTok pixel, no advertising or retargeting tracker, and no cross-site tracking. We do not build a profile of you from your browsing, and we do not buy data about you from anyone.

03

How we use your data

PDPA requires us to be specific about the purpose of each piece. This is the full list.

PurposeData usedBasis under PDPA
Answer your enquiry, prepare for a consultation, send you what you asked forName, contact details, what you told us about your situationConsent — you submitted the form
Follow up on that enquiryThe same, plus our correspondence with youConsent, withdrawable at any time
Conduct the transaction once you formally engage usFull transaction KYC, collected separately under the agency's regulated processPerformance of contract; obligations under the Estate Agents Act
Keep a record and honour do-not-contact requestsThe above, plus your opt-outLegitimate interest; legal obligation under PDPA

We do not use your data to train models, and we do not sell it. Ever, to anyone.

04

Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. It goes to these parties only, and only for the purposes described.

POV Realty
Operates this website and the enquiry system on our behalf. Enquiries submitted here reach us through it.
The agency
When you formally engage us, the transaction must be processed under the agency licence. The agency is a co-controller for transaction data.
Hosting
Vercel serves this website and keeps the standard server logs described above.
Calendly
Only if you open the booking widget. Calendly then collects what you enter under its own privacy notice.
Regulators
CEA, IRAS, the PDPC, or a court — where we are legally required to disclose.
Your transaction counterparties
Buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants or co-broking agents — only what the deal requires, such as your name on an Option to Purchase.

05

Cookies, storage and third parties

Short, because there is very little to declare.

This site sets no cookies. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

It uses one item of browser storage: a sessionStorage entry holding the public profile of whoever's site you are on — name, photo, contact details — so the page does not re-request it on every click. It contains nothing about you, never leaves your browser, and is discarded when you close the tab.

Your browser also contacts these third parties while a page loads:

  • Google Fonts — for the typefaces. Google receives your IP address as part of that request.
  • pov.sg — the property datasets the pages compute from. No personal data is sent.
  • OpenStreetMap — the location map on a project page only, and only when you scroll to it.
  • Calendly — only after you click to book. Nothing loads from Calendly before that.

06

How long we keep it

DataKept for
Enquiry with no follow-up24 months from last contact, then deleted or anonymised
Active client and consultation recordsThe relationship, plus 6 years — in line with CEA record-keeping rules
Transaction documents6 years from completion
Do-not-contact listIndefinitely. It is the only way to honour an opt-out permanently, and it holds nothing but the contact detail you asked us to stop using
Server logsPer our host's retention, typically weeks rather than months

07

Your rights under PDPA

Free of charge, and we will not ask you why.

  • Access — ask what personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction — ask us to fix anything inaccurate or incomplete.
  • Withdraw consent — opt out of marketing or any other consent-based use at any time. We action this within 7 working days and add you to the do-not-contact list so it sticks.
  • Portability — ask for a copy of what you gave us, in a machine-readable format, once that provision of PDPA is in force.
  • Complain — if you think we have mishandled your data, you can go straight to the Personal Data Protection Commission at pdpc.gov.sg. You do not need to raise it with us first.

To exercise any of these, email with the subject line "PDPA Request". We acknowledge within 3 working days and respond substantively within 30 days.

08

Security, children, and changes

Security. Enquiries are sent over HTTPS and stored in access-controlled systems. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise — but we hold as little as we can for as short as we can, which is the part that actually limits the damage.

Children. This site is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a minor has submitted an enquiry, tell us and we will delete it.

Changes. If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the revised version.

09
